The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) is the gateway to undergraduate courses offered by all the Central Universities of India. Some state universities and private universities may also adopt CUET as the basis of admission.
In CUET, boards mark is not going to play a great role and is not a criteria for admission, however the universities are free to decide the eligibility criteria for the admission. For example- A university may keep 60% as minimum marks in 12th as an admission criteria in their university.
The exam will be in a hybrid mode combining pen-and-paper and computer-based testing based on subject popularity in application forms. And the question will be MCQ
The CUET 2024 paper: 5 marks for every correct attempt; while, for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. Questions not attempted will not be assessed and not considered while preparing the final merit list.
Online applications has started from 27th February and will end by 26th March
By visiting its official website CUET UG 2024 registration
CUET exam’s level of difficulty is regarded as moderate for an average student. But it is highly competitive and candidates appearing for the exam need to have a strategy and aim in order to score well and qualify. One should expect their exam to be highly challenging if they don’t adequately prepare or review the courses and themes.
Choosing options from each section is not mandatory and choice shall meet the requirements of desired universities.
The students are advised to choose language and subjects, which they have studied in class 12th board, however if any universities permits any relaxation in this regard, the same will be exercised under CUET. The students are advised to keep checking the website of respective universities frequently, in which they will seek admission.
